Commercial & Rooftop Solar
ZNRG designs and installs rooftop solar systems for commercial properties across Maryland. Our projects typically range from 200 to 350 kW and are structured to reduce your building’s operating costs, generate on-site power, and unlock federal tax incentives including the Investment Tax Credit.
We handle the full development process site assessment, system design, permitting, financing coordination, and construction management so property owners can focus on their business while their rooftop starts generating value.
For properties with critical operations or tenants who depend on uninterrupted power, our commercial installations can be paired with battery storage for grid resiliency.
Reduce Operating Costs Offset electricity expenses with on-site solar generation. Most commercial systems pay for themselves within 5–7 years through energy savings and tax incentives.
No Upfront Capital Required ZNRG structures financing so property owners can go solar with little or no money down, using Power Purchase Agreements, leases, or direct ownership models.
Full-Service Development From site assessment through interconnection, ZNRG manages the entire process. One point of contact, one team, start to finish.
Energy Resiliency
When the grid goes down, the communities that can least afford it lose the most. Medical clinics suspend patient care. Houses of worship that serve as neighborhood gathering points go dark. Food distribution stops. ZNRG is working to change that.
We plan and develop solar-plus-battery storage systems for community-serving facilities medical buildings, houses of worship, and nonprofit centers so they can maintain critical operations during power outages and serve as emergency hubs for surrounding neighborhoods.
What We Do
Our resiliency work starts with detailed planning: feasibility analysis, critical load identification, solar-plus-battery system design, lifecycle financial modeling, and implementation barrier assessment. We coordinate with utilities, site owners, and state agencies to move projects from concept to construction-ready.
ZNRG is actively pursuing state resiliency funding to support planning across five community-serving sites.
Resiliency Hubs
Houses of worship, community centers, and nonprofit facilities that serve as trusted neighborhood anchors. During emergencies, these buildings become informal shelters, information points, and service distribution sites. Solar-plus-battery systems keep them operational when the grid fails.
Resilient Facility Power Systems
Medical offices, clinics, and healthcare facilities where power loss disrupts diagnostics, refrigeration of medical supplies, and patient care. On-site solar and battery storage protects critical operations and ensures continuity of care for the surrounding community.
